Lack of Transparency Undermining Sustainability of projects.

The National Coordinator of the Stop TB Ghana Partnership, Chief Austin Arinze Obiefuna has sited the lack of openness in project implementation as contributing to undermining of NGOs Programmes in the country.

“Present official expenditure receipts not organizational P.V.s to your donors when retiring the project financial accounts” he said.

Chief Austin said this at the Training Workshop on TB Control for NGOs in Accra yesterday. Stop TB is a campaign and as well a partnership to help put TB on the policy makers agenda.

He said the partnership will try to mobilize additional resources for TB control, identify funding gaps and priorities then distribute to its most appropriate partners.
