Preparation of the World TB Day in Ghana

The observation of the 2007 World TB Day in Ghana demonstrates the proactive qualities of the Ghana National TB Programme when dealing with its partners. The standing committee for the planning of World TB Day in Ghana has a representative of all sector and sub sectors in system.

The members of the committee normally meet five times prior to the launching and once after the celebration. The members are the Director-Public Health, The Chief Director-Ministry of Health, The Head-DCU, The Editor-Ghana News Agency, The Editor-Daily Graphic, The Head-PRU, The Director-IFD, The OIC, HPU, WSTB Day, Head-HPU, The PM-Malaria Control, The Editor-Ghanaian Times, Afro Global Alliance, Stop TB Ghana Partnership, Country Director-WHO, The Programme Manager NTP, the P.O. Health Days, Secretary, Head-eye care unit, Mr. Felix Afutu-NTP, Margaret Rose Afriyie NTP, Alhaji-HPU, Mr. Simon Adoboe NTP, Ernest Agyepong-Afro Global Alliance, Chief Austin Arinze Obiefuna-Afro Global Alliance, The Director for Programmes-GBC, Cynthia Oware NTP, Ahmed Iddrisu NTP.
